From TV Producer to Entrepreneur
After seven years in the Los Angeles television industry, working with companies like HBO, Disney+, Amazon, and Warner Bros, I made the leap back to school to pursue something I’ve always been passionate about: entrepreneurship.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Diego State University with a degree in Business Administration and a focus in Entrepreneurship. While at SDSU, I co-founded three startups:
CleanKeys – We built an automated UV-C keyboard sanitizer for hospitals. The project earned us a spot as one of 13 national finalists in NASA’s MITTIC Challenge.
Vatra – Our team developed firefighter gear using NASA’s aerogel technology and became one of 11 national finalists in the same NASA challenge.
Healthcare Made Manageable – As CEO, I led our AI healthtech startup through product development, fundraising, and pitch competitions, winning first place at USD’s SpaceTime Social Pitch and multiple awards at SDSU.
I also interned with a range of organizations—from a biotech IP firm to a 3D printing startup to a healthcare tech company—taking on everything from go-to-market strategy to clinical trial planning to economic development work in my hometown of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Now, I’m the Director of Business Development at Physicians First Bancorp, a physician-owned bank where I’m focused on building tools and strategies that help doctors—whether they’re just finishing residency or planning retirement—navigate financial systems and stay in control of their careers.
